What Does a Plate Cooking Unit Do?
The plate cooking unit maintains precise temperatures on the binding plates used to transfer and set hot-melt adhesives. These heated plates help ensure the glue reaches the right viscosity at the right moment—soft enough to flow and penetrate the spine, yet not so hot that it degrades or becomes stringy.
